1d. Accreditation Grant

An accreditation grant (valued at $25,000) allows 1791 Delegates and the grantee to develop partnership agreements with postsecondary institutions who wish to offer college credit for the grantee’s courses offered on ReligionAndPublicLife.org.

1791 Delegates helps grantees craft partnership agreements with professional associations or government agencies that regulate professional development credits for teachers, lawyers, chaplains, healthcare professionals, and so on.

Sample commission distribution:

  • The partner school receives 50% of income from their tuition rates for issuing learners' academic credit;
  • the grantees (e.g., content creators) receive a 25% commission; and
  • a 25% fee supports the ReligionAndPublicLife.org technology, administration, and teaching fellows.
